Information
I found inspiration to my work from traveling around the world, meeting people from different cultures.
The world is full of colors, it depends on the context and the eyes who see it - that's why I say "a clay pot is not only a clay pot ". I also get inspired by my own challenges in life and it can be a good therapy to knead a large lump of clay.
I studied "Art, design, and clay" at the university in Notodden /Telemark from 2011-2013. The study ended up with a bachelor with the title" clay pots inspired from exotic and primitive cultures "
I use the old tecnic "coils and anvil ". I m proud to use this because it's one of the oldest traditional ways in this field.

I was so lucky to take part in the woodfire burning ceramic happening in "Anagamaovnen " in Kjerra Fossepark near Larvik, June 2019 and 2020.
And I had an exhibition in Stavern - Galleri Steinbrakka from juli-december 2020
I attend the "Påskeutstillingen "in Stavern 2022. It was a very good experience.
If you ask me what I prefer most to make ... then the answer is clear, mainly large pots with decoration, either geometric figures or African motifs.
All my large jars are feminine and named after friends or places I have been.
My women's jars/pots are lush, colorful, and proud, but they can also be delicate or full of contrast, as, for me, they reflect real life.
My dreams for next year is to travel to Sirigu in Ghana, to visit the Swopa Sirigu art and culture center for women. Here they decorate and paint their ceramic and houses precisely with geometric figures, just like I like to do, which for me also become a meditative design.
